About OLIV
What is OLIV?
OLIV is a strategic creative studio in Sibiu, Transylvania, founded by Amalia Precup — at the intersection of strategy, communication, aesthetics, experiences and public & cultural projects. Nearly two decades beside stories that matter.
How long has OLIV existed?
The studio was founded in 2015, and Amalia has worked for nearly two decades across marketing, communication, events and public initiatives.
Why so few projects a year?
Because every project gets Amalia’s attention, personally. We take 6–8 projects a year, so we stay a studio, not a deliverables factory.
Do you have a team?
Amalia replies personally to every message and leads every project — never automated, never through rotating freelancers. For execution we work with carefully chosen collaborators, but the relationship stays direct with you.
Who is Amalia Precup?
The founder of OLIV — a communication expert with nearly two decades of experience across marketing, communication, events and public initiatives. She’s the one who replies, leads the first conversation, and stays present throughout the project.
Brand & vision
What’s the difference between OLIV and a generalist agency?
We have no standard packages, templates, or rotating freelancers. We take 6–8 projects a year, and Amalia leads each one personally. It’s a studio, not a volume agency.
What does “premium” mean to you?
It means attention, not opulence. Few projects a year, strategic thinking for each, and Amalia’s direct presence from the first message to the end — no templates, no automation.
Do you also work with public institutions or cultural projects?
Yes. OLIV collaborates with institutions, public initiatives and cultural projects — communication consulting, experiential concepts and strategic direction, with sensitivity for context and community.
Experiences & events
What kinds of events do you create?
Corporate events, launches, conferences and private experiences — experiential concepts designed for atmosphere, emotional connection and meaningful interaction. Each is treated as a studio project, not a package.
What’s the minimum/maximum number of guests?
We don’t work with fixed thresholds — the story matters more than the number. We discuss the size of your event transparently in the first conversation.
Do you also do corporate events?
Yes — corporate events are central to what we do: launches, conferences, brand activations. Tell us the context in your first message and we’ll see together whether we resonate.
Do you also organize weddings or private events?
Yes — private events and boutique weddings, approached as experience design. We discuss transparently what goes into the project in the first conversation.
How we work
How does a collaboration begin?
It begins with a first conversation, online or at the Sibiu atelier — at no cost and with no obligation. If we resonate, a written proposal follows.

What should I include in the first message?
Project type (brand, experience, cultural project), an approximate budget, the target timeframe, the location if relevant, and a link to what you saw/read about us. The more context, the better the first conversation.
How far in advance should we contact you?
The earlier the better — we take 6–8 projects a year, so the calendar fills up. If your timeframe is already set, write to us and we’ll see if there’s still room.
What happens if we want to change something?
We work directly with you, not through a template, so adjustments are part of the process. The details of how we handle changes are clarified transparently in the first conversation and the written proposal.
How do you handle vendors?
Coordinating vendors is part of what we do as an atelier. How it applies to your project is something we discuss transparently in the first conversation.
Payment & contracts
How is payment handled?
The concrete payment terms are set out transparently in the written proposal, after the first conversation. We have no standard packages, so everything is tailored to your project.
What does the fee include?
Because we don’t work with fixed packages, the fee is shaped around your project. What’s in and what’s not we discuss transparently in the first conversation, before any commitment.
Are there hidden costs?
No. Everything is put on the table transparently in the first conversation and then in the written proposal, before you commit to anything.
What happens if we cancel?
Cancellation terms are part of the written proposal and the contract. We discuss them transparently in the first conversation, so you know exactly what you’re signing.
Do you work with a deposit?
The payment structure, including any deposit, is set out transparently in the written proposal, after the first conversation.
Logistics
Do you work across the whole country?
Yes — across Romania, and online for the Romanian diaspora. The atelier is in Sibiu, but projects take us wherever it makes sense.
Do you work outside Sibiu?
Yes. Preparation happens at the Sibiu atelier, but we work across Romania and online — including with the diaspora.
Is there an in-person meeting at the atelier?
Yes — the atelier is in Sibiu, by prior appointment. Conversations can also be 100% online if you prefer or if you’re in the diaspora.
How soon do you reply?
Within 48 working hours — sometimes sooner, never automated. Amalia replies personally.
Do you reply on weekends?
Not for new messages. For active projects and events, we’re present when it matters — Amalia is personally involved.
Are you present at the events?
Yes. Amalia is present in person at the events we coordinate — no stand-ins, no coordinating from a distance.
