Context

A destination wedding means more than organising a wedding in a different location. It means building a complete experience, in which the destination becomes part of the story.

OLIV develops events in România and across other European destinations, adapting the concept, the logistics and the experience to the character of each place. Transilvania, however, remains the source that has defined our style: Saxon villages, restored barns, parish courtyards, vineyards and places where authenticity is part of the experience.

The challenge

How do you organise an event in a destination where the couple and the guests don’t know the vendors, the venues and the logistical particularities, and where every detail has to be coordinated from a distance?

The goal is to build a complete experience, in which the concept, the place and the people work together, without the planning becoming a source of stress.

Every destination wedding starts with the couple’s story and with choosing a destination suited to their style. The process includes:

That is why we prefer venues with identity: historic villages, restored barns, vineyards, gardens, manors or spaces that already have a story. We don’t build sets that hide the place, but concepts that bring it to life. This approach, inspired by the heritage and the landscape of Transilvania, can be adapted anywhere in Europe, keeping the same attention to authenticity, aesthetics and the guest experience.
